We are recruiting a Night Shift Transport Planner to work for our large Client based in Spalding.
You must have a minimum of 1 years Transport Planning experience
Your duties will include:
- Plan and manage a section of the fleet.
- Ensure requirements of the transport plan are fully met.
- Utilise the fleet to its maximum capacity.
- Use backhauls as and when necessary.
- Liaise with customers and staff.
- Ensure all servicing arrangements and MOTs are met.
- Ensure all drivers adhere to and comply with driver’s hours and working time regulations.
- Schedule transport movements for third party hauliers as required.
- Ensure schedules are communicated to drivers in a timely manner.
- Work to build good relationships with drivers, suppliers, and consumers.
Hours of work
19.00-07.00 4 on/4 off
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.50 per hour
